Best Base Coat EVER

Hello Pretties Today being my 6 month Blogiversary I was hoping to do a Giveaway but it's been a very hectic week here and I haven't had a chance to go shopping. Instead I want to share a product I just started using and LOVE. Yeah I know Nail polish base coats how exciting right but if you have a problem with nail polish chipping fast like me no matter what you do you with love this stuff.

ESSIE FIRST BASE - BASE COAT
Helps bond Nail Polish to Nail plate for a lasting manicure and it really does do just that. The pictures below are with no Top coat (for testing purposes) taken on day 1 & 6. I did take my polish off today just because I was tired of the colour but as you can see I really didn't need to. My polish always chips with in days so I think this base is amazing.

 DAY 1

DAY 6
Hope you don't mind the state of my nails I need a real manicure and not just slapping some paint on top:)

LIPSTICK LOVE - MAC HIGH TEA

Hey Beauties just a quick post tonight on a lipstick I'm loving right now. On my last visit to MAC I was talked into getting High Tea which is very pretty but I would passed it by to be honest..So happy it was brought to my attention. I wear this shade on its own or over brighter colours to tone them down and add some shimmer.

BATTLE OF THE UNDER EYE BRIGHTENERS

Hey dolls today I wanted to compare 2 under eye brighteners  I have in my collection right now. I have had the famous YSL Touche Eclat on my wish list for years and years but the $50 price tag keeps making me put it back before getting to the register. So I keep on looking for cheaper alternatives..here are 2 of them:)

LOREAL MAGIC LUMI VS. SMASH BOX PHOTO OP

LOREAL MAGIC LUMI - this product has the same consistency as a liquid concealer and works amazing at brightening my under eyes. I mainly use it over my regular concealer, applying in in a V shape under my eyes then patting it in although sometimes in a hurry I just wear it alone and it might not cover dark circle completely it still brightens/lightens that area.
NOTHING
LOREAL MAGIC LUMI ALONE
LOREAL MAGIC LUMI OVER CONCEALER (MAC SELECT COVER UP)
SMASHBOX PHOTO OP- Ok maybe I need to play around with this one, read reviews or go ask a person working in Sephora but Im confused on this product. It does have a golden sheen to it but its so wet even greasy that patting it in takes a long time. It does seem to brighten some but I think its just light hitting the wetness under my eyes..hmm maybe I can find a better use for this product.
NOTHING
SMASHBOX PHOTO OP UNDER EYE BRIGHTENER
PHOTO OP OVER CONCEALER (MAC SELECT COVER-UP)

Over these 2 I would definitely choose the one from Loreal. I think its amazing and I use it everyday whether over my concealer or alone just to make me look more awake while running my kids to the school bus. At this point I wouldn't recommend the under eye brightener by Smashbox because I personally dont like the super wet consistency and it doesn't lighten my under eyes as much..but like I mentioned above I may not be using right.

SMASHBOX WISH LIST KIT

Hi Lovelies, today was a hectic morning getting my daughter stitched up (and some shots too) I'm worn out. So just posting a mini haul tonight . I was returning something to winners the other day and spotted this kit from Smashbox for $19.99. I thought it was filled with all travel size products but that was fine with me. When looking up the size/price of the full size products for this post I realised all but 1 item was full size. Lastly $1 from the sales of this set was supposed to go to Children's Miracle Network but because its from Winners I'm not sure it will.
(Reg full prices are taken from Sephora.com)

SMASHBOX WISH SET
FUSION SOFT LIGHTS - BAKED STARDUST $36
PHOTO  FINISH PRIMER (LRG TRAVEL SZ .5fl.oz) .4 fl.oz @ SEPHORA $22
PHOTO OP UNDER EYE BRIGHTENER $22
O-GLOSS GOLD $25
JET SET WATERPROOF EYELINER $27

Kit cost $19.99 and to buy each product on there own it would of cost me $132..I think that's an awesome deal:) When I get a chance to do more then swatch them I will include these products in future posts.

MY NEW HAIR CUT

Hey Beauties, just wanted to share my new hair cut with you lovely people. If you follow me on Twitter or Facebook you would have noticed me mentioning a lot lately how I needed to cut a lot of my hair off because it was dead from going blond last summer. I finally got the courage to chop it off today..I need to get used to it but like it so far:)
I would love your opinions please, now that the dead hair is gone to I suit short hair enough to keep it or grow it out again???

DECISION DECISIONS :)

Hey dolls as you may have seen in an earlier haul and face of the night I recently purchased an Urban Decay build your own palette and a few eye shadows..but now I'm trying to choose other colours to complete my palette, I like so many I may need to start a second  palette.

 ACDC
ABC GUM
ROACH
FREELOVE
TWICE BAKED

TEASE
WOODSTOCK
These are the colours I like right now and as you may have noticed I gravitate towards neutral shades & purples (because of my green eyes) making this more of an everyday palette but who knows maybe when I'm actually in Sephora I may fall in love with some bright shades..maybe Ill end up with an everyday palette as well as a fun evening palette too..oh my poor wallet lol:)
