Covergirl Lipperfection VS Revlon Just Bitten

Hey Loves today I picked up one of the new Covergirl Lipperfection Jumbo Gloss Balm crayons to see how it compares to my beloved Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stains. I know one is suppose to be a stain the other a gloss and there for comparing them may not be fair but I thought I would any ways.

I would normally compare two products by categories but every result would be the same on this one. The products are identical in Color payoff, Glossiness and Staying power. Even the size and look of the packaging/product is pretty much exact. The color selection for both brands are pretty good as well.

Beauty Box 5

Today while getting my kids ready to play outside in the snow the Mail Man dropped of this months Beauty Box 5 and of course I couldn't resist opening it up right away. As soon as I did I had a big smile on my face. Such wonderful products this month and like always fabulous discount codes. I will be doing reviews as I use so watch out for future posts.
MaskerAide Hydrating Sheet Mask - $4.99/sheet
Jean Pierre Cosmetics Exfoliating Facial Cleansing Pads - $1.99/16 Pads
Really looking forward to seeing how these work on my dry winter skin
Everyday  Minerals Flat Top Brush - $12.99
This year I have come to love flat top brushes for applying products such as foundation and by the looks and feel of this brush I know I'm going to be using it loads.
Demeter Roll On Perfume Oil  in Apple Blossom - 0.29 oz $10.00
I haven't owned anything from this brand in years. I discovered them after searching for a replacement perfume for a fave of mine after it was discontinued - GAP Grass.
OFRA Cosmetics 3D Eye Shadow -  0. 14 oz $19.99
If MAC Club was a pigment this would be it. The pictures don't do this one justice.
What did you think of this months box?

Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stains

Hi Loves, I picked up a new Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain today while doing some Stocking shopping and thought instead of just showing the new color I would show an updated collection of all the shades I have so far. I have mentioned before how much I adore these lip crayons and that is still true. The colors range is beautiful and just pigmented enough, super glossy and the shape is perfect for lining and filling in my lips. Love this Product.

Love the way photos enhance all my imperfections..even the ones you don't notice in person. Oh well:)

9am Eye Make-up

Easy product to use, no reaction but totally useless. It didn't make a difference at all on how long my make-up lasted on my eyes and my lips (had to use old camera & lip pics didn't turn out..sorry)

OPI - Mariah Carey Liquid Sand Polish Review

Hello again Lovelies, If you read my Tweets today or saw the post that went up seconds before this one you know I went out to get some polishes from the new OPI Mariah Carey Collection (Liquid Sand Polishes) but sadly there was only 1 color left at Trade Secret. Of course I snatched it up then went on a hunt to the other salons around me but they hadn't got the displays up yet.

I'm not sure what I expected but I was pleasantly surprised at how much I like the effect this polish gives. When you first paint it on your nails it looks like a regular sparkly glossy polish, as it tries it turns to a matte finish and really does look like you poured super sparkly sand over each nail. I always use a top coat so I tried my regular Seche Vite and Essie Matte about you and both destroyed the awesome effect, so I would recommend not using any at all.

* Was hoping to capture the texture on pictures but it was hard to do.

What do you think about this one?

Polish Haul & Swatches

Hey Loves Dropped by Trade Secret & Winners this morning to check out the OPI Mariah Carey collection and take advantage of the BOGO 50% off sale. I was sad to see the Liquid Sands polishes from that collection were pretty much gone, just 1 color left. I also got 2 nail polishes from the sale and a third from winners next door. I am really happy with all of them. Below you will see swatches except The OPI Liquid Sand nail polish which I have done a separate review on (posted now as well)

SATION - Tall Dark & Has Some
Winners $6.99

OPI - Light My Sapphire
Trade Secret $9.95 (BOGO 1/2 price)

MISA - Disco Queen
Trade Secret $7.95 (BOGO 1/2 price)

Wow this post was a lot of work swatching and removing then my camera battery died and I had to pull out my very old camera, all got done in the end. Hope you get the chance to check out my review on OPI Mariah Carey Liquid Sands Polish:)

Winter Basics Haul

Hi Loves, I always try to do bargain shopping to get more for my money and lately Ive been doing quite a bit. I realized my winter clothing is seriously sparse so I've been trying to add basic pieces and accessories to my wardrobe. Here is the first of I'm sure many hauls I will be posting over the next month or so.
Shopped at Forever 21 - Ardene - Winners & Walmart. Not shown Grey Joggers Im lounging in right now
Not the most exciting of hauls but I needed pieces that would be good basics for layering. I have had a thing for printed shirts and shirts with holes..well at least this week.
