Hello Beauties, I love Eye Liners and have way more then I could possibly need but its one of those products I'm always buying to see which ones better. How long they wear, if they fade and how pigmented they are. I do use Pencil and liquid liners but reach for my Gel/Cream Liners more often so I thought I would give you my opinion on the ones I have right now.
ANNABELLE SMUDGE PAINT/MUDDY - B+ This creamy Liner goes on opaque and last all day with out fading. This bronze shade isn't as harsh as black so I reach for it on days I want some definition but want to stick with a more neutral look. The built in brush is a bonus.
MAYBELLINE EYESTUDIO/BLACKEST BLACK - A This has to be my favorite Drug Store gel liner. Mine is drying out a bit now but it still goes on smooth, very black and stays put all day. I prefer this one to many high end ones I have tried and you can't get much better for $10
SMASHBOX JET SET/MIDNIGHT BLACK - B This matte drying Liner is just as black as a few others on this list but I'm giving it a B because it doesn't go on as smooth as others, the consistency isn't as creamy and you have to press harder into the pot to get enough on the brush (yes its new). Once on the lasting power is great.
ESSENCE GEL EYELINER/LONDON BABY - C This isn't a horrible product but definitely not my fave. As weird as it may sound its too creamy, its more off a soft mousse consistency and goes on very streaky.
CLINIQUE/BLACK HONEY - B I will be buying a new one soon as mine has dried out quite a bit. Its soft, smooth and last well. This (not this pot lol) was my very first gel eye liner I ever purchased. This is another one I use for more natural eye looks.
QUO CREAM EYELINER/PEWTER - C I truly never use this one but I did test it out for a day and it was hard to get on the brush (not too soft) its not very pigmented and fades through out the day. I only bought it because it was on the discount rack at Shoppers for a few dollars.
ULTRAFLESH BLACK MAGIC SET - A love this new liner and so happy I found it for a great price at Winners. Its so so black, just creamy/smooth enough and last a long time. The only reason I gave it a A and no A+ is because it does stay wet a bit longer then others and can smudge before it sets fully.
Now I'm off to Watch BIG BROTHER:)
