Rimmel Clean Finish & Clean Finish Matte Foundations

Hi Dolls, tonight I wanted to share my thoughts on a long time fave Rimmel Clean Finish Foundation and a new one Rimmel Clean Finish Matte. I always wanted to try a matte foundation and skip the step of powdering but because I have combination skin that leans on the dry side I wasn't sure, this let me try it out at a great price. This was a hard post to do, because of my lighting. Hopefully you can see the difference in the pictures between these 2 foundations.

Clean Finish 

I think this is a great foundation if you aren't looking for full coverage. The coverage is light  but can be built up. Gives a natural looking finish that's a bit dewy and last quite well. I have worn this foundation in the winter when my skin is so dry I have a problem with flaking around my nose as well as now when my T-zone can be on the oily side and it worked out great both times.

Clean Finish Matte

This one has more coverage then the original and I'm really enjoying the matte finish. I thought it would look cakey or even flaky but it doesn't. The best way to describe the finish on my skin is if you applied your foundation then did a light dusting of powder over it. I haven't tried it on my dry skin yet but right now it lasts on me all day, wore it from 8am till 9pm with a nap in between and I wasn't oily or blotchy (no powder). The only down side I can think of is it sets a lot quicker then the original so I have to work in sections.
