MAYBELLINE Master Duo Liquid Liner - 1st Impression

Hello Lovelies. I'm really not a liquid liner gal sticking mostly to my gel liner and brushes but I've been so interested in giving this liner a go. When I saw it was on sale at Shoppers for $5.99 today I grabbed one. It was hard to decide which shade to get since I have too many black and browns already, so I went with the purple. Here is what I think.

One Layer

3 Layers

One Wipe with a dry Kleenex (after liner dried)

PROS
Love the brush. It really does do a great thick or thin line
Great choice of shades (teal, purple, black, navy & Bronze, ?)

CONS
Its so freakin watery.
Poor pigmentation (I did shake it like crazy).
Not worth the $12.99 price tag
Easily removable - wipes off too easily

I would love to use this brush with a better liquid liner if thats possible. I will try to use this product up some how, maybe under eye shadows in a similar color as liner. I wont be re-purchasing this products.

If you have tried this and I just got a bad one let me know:)

  1. I got it and find if you let it dry a bit, the staying power is longer. But it flakes off after a while. Agree with you that it is a nice applicator. Just the formula is not that impressive.

  2. It does look watery. I don't think this would be a good fit for me. I like my liners creamy and thick.

    Thanks for the review!
