QUO Blushing Pearl Cheek Palette

Hey Loves. When I was shopping last week I saw this little blush/bronzer palette being put on display and thought it was cute and it was discounted so I snatched one up. I like the pearly white packaging and the colors inside are nice. The colors are not as pigmented as some blushes I own but still quite good. Thought I would share it with you guys:)

After actually trying these products I like the cream blush, the pigmentation, lasting power and color are all really nice. The coral/pink shade in the middle is subtle but beautiful, it has the tiniest shimmer through out that are barely noticeable. Now the bronze color they say is a blush I'm not 100% sold on. Well for me. I'm used to matte bronzers and this one has shimmer (sheen) and I don't think the color works great on my skin tone.

How boring ... until I added a little Sparkle

Hi Lovelies. I'm in the middle of writing up my February Beauty Faves for tomorrow and I took a few pics of whats on my nails among all the other camera snapping. I was thinking of painting my nails a neutral color like I used to do a lot then thought this looks boring and adding some sparkle like usual:)

I used Essie Yogaga and OPI Rainbow Connection:)

OCC LIP TAR - MEMENTO

Hey Loves. You may have seen on my last haul post I picked up a new OCC Lip Tar from Sephora (the check out line area is hard on my wallet lol) and surprisingly I skipped the bold colors. I love Lip Tars, you need the smallest dot on a brush to cover your lips. I like to apply 2 coats, blotting in between.

OCC LIP TAR - MEMENTO
Memento is a stunning pink. That's described as a mid-tone pink plum but I don't see any plum in it at all.

Lip Tar tip - always check your teeth after apply :)

UD NAKED BASICS Tutorial & Review

Hey Lovelies. Last week I finally picked up the Urban Decay Naked Basics Palette and created an eye look using only only this palette and mascara to go out on Saturday night so Im creating it again tonight for you in this easy Tutorial.

STEP 1 - Apply W.O.S (3rd) all over lid

STEP 2 - Put Naked 2 (4th) through the crease then deepen it a little with Faint (5th) through the outer corner of crease.

STEP 3 - Use a eyeliner brush to line the upper lash line and create a wing using the shade Crave (6th). I used a pencil brush to smudge it out and used what was left on brush to bring Crave under my outer lower lashes.
*There is a lot of fall out when using Crave as a liner I just placed a tissue under my eye, cleaned up with a Qtip and applied my concealer last

STEP 4 - I finished the look by mixing Venus (1st) & Foxy (2nd) together to create a highlight color for my brow bone and inner corner of eye. I applied Mascara and the look was complete.
*I also used Faint to fill in my brows

NAKED BASIC PALETTE Review
I heard mixed reviews on this palette but I totally adore it. It made sense for me to get it since my most used shadows for day time looks are the Matte shades from the Naked Palettes. The shadows are smooth, beautifully pigmented, great colors that work perfect together. A wonderful price at $32 and small enough to pack in your make-up bag.

I've changed my opinion on MAC PAINT POTS

Hey Loves. Wow the blog gods have been causing trouble for me today, but I finally was able to get this post ready after a dead battery, mysterious hand hives & non-working editing software. On to the post now. I shared 2 new paint posts in a recent haul and wanted to share thought & swatches on my MAC paint Pots.

MAC PAINT POTS
Rubenesque - Vintage Selection - Groundwork
VINTAGE SELECTION
GROUNDWORK
RUBENESQUE
RUBENESQUE - VINTAGE SELECTION - GROUNDWORK

I didn't get on well with my first Paint Pot Rubenesque which is a beautiful color but I find it patchy on me so I was hesitant on buying more. I'm happy I decided to try out others. The formula on Vintage Selection & Groundwork is way better in my opinion. Smooth, non greasy, pigmented, lasts long with out creasing on my lids. Almost as awesome as my Smashbox Cream Shadows:)

NARS TORRID Blush

I've missed you Beauties this weekend. I have to be honest I was busy at night the last few days but could of  posted during the day but I just needed a little break. So I went out last night to help celebrate a friends Birthday and wore Nars Torrid from my recent haul. It was the first time I had worn it and I know with out a doubt it will be in my favorites especially for summer.

Torrid is a very pigmented Coral/orange (not coral/pink) with subtle gold shimmer. It warms up my cheeks and brightens up my face with its gorgeous peachy color and sheen. Its a stunning blush.

Dont mind the brush hair on my cheek I didnt notice:)

Maybelline COLORsensational VIVIDS

Hey there Lovelies. I Absolutely adore this Line of lipsticks. I have been reaching for my softer lipstick shades lately but at heart I'm always going to be a bright lips girl. I just love that pop of color and these L'Oreal Vivids are fantastic:)

900 Hot Plum
Looks more purple in the tube but swatches & shows on my lips with more pink to it.

870 Coral Crush
Love has a bit more pink in it in person. Stunning color.

This line of lipsticks is very pigmented and creamy. The staying power is pretty good as well. Although faded some I could still see the color on my lips after a day of shopping and traveling around town:)
