Going Nearly Naked

Hey Loves. Thought I would give you my thoughts on Revlon's Nearly Naked Foundation & Powder. It took me a while to find this foundation after the displays cleared out all most immediately then the powders were all snatched up near me as well. Here are my thoughts after finally getting my hands on both and using them both this past week or so.
*Reviewed on normal to dry skin

Nearly Naked Foundation in 160 Fresh Beige
I thought the color selection for this line really not great, at least not for my skin tone. I'm usually the second shade in most foundations but the first 2 in these were way to light (didn't appear so in the bottles) then the third shade is too peachy and the forth one in which I bought was a little dark but blended out well it does work.  I find the coverage to be light - medium and leaves a natural finish. Not too dewy or dry looking. I really like the way it looks on the skin. This foundation lasts all day on me and didn't transfer to my clothes or pillow cases (I have napped in it a few times:)). Yes the color selection isn't the greatest but if you can find the right shade its a wonderful foundation.

Revlon Nearly Naked Powder in Light
I'm not usually a face powder lover having dry skin, only using it to set my concealer but I heard so many good things about the texture and finish I had to see what the fuss was about. It does have a silky texture. Looks great on the skin but does give a lot more coverage then I'm used to. I found using the applicator sponge that came with it packed too much product on and made my face look too cakey. A powder brush and light hand works great and leaves a lovely finish on the skin.

The lighting made my face appear shiny in this photo but it wasnt like that in person

I apply this foundation the same way I do all my foundations with a flat top foundation brush then patting any brush marks out with a beauty blender.

  3. I think I am one of the few people who hated this line! I tried both and I agree, it was hard to find the right color. Otherwise, it was completely cakey on me. I tried it with the beauty blender and brushes. I'm glad it worked for you, though!
