Hey loves back again with another product review. Last week I picked up a Bobbi Brown Corrector on my trip to Sephora and I've been loving it ever since. The shade Light Bisque is a perfect color for correcting the blueness in my under eye circles and works so well I don't really have to wear concealer over it (but do most days). This products consistency is creamy and blends out really easily reminding me of MAC Studio Finish Concealer. It lasts all day on me and in my opinion worth the $30 price tag. I will be re-purchasing it again:)
No Corrector
With Corrector no Concealer
Just a quick note before I go loves. I still love blogging but I'm not sure where to go from here. I just feel unsatisfied with things right now and I know that's partly my fault. I did nothing with the affiliate programs and companies asking me to do reviews when I first started so I could be establish myself first and since then everything has stopped. I know its controversial topic but I have put in more time writing posts then many work a regular job. Getting ready to and writing at least 1 post a day for 16 months is hard work and I feel like I should be some where better by now. I'm not trying to be greedy that's not my attention at all. I'm not going to stop blogging or making videos (first one was posted yesterday) but I will be changing things up.
I love this concealor, I have it as well. I totally understand where you are coming from. I haven't been blogging as long as you but nowadays it is so hard to get things started!! I feel that way all the time. Changing things up is good :) But you will always be supported!
Thanks lovely. I love writing and have made from great friends but it seems everyone even new to blogging is reviewing products from companies and going to blogger events, meet ups and product launches and I havent. I feel like maybe Im not doing as good as I thought if I havent by now:)
This really improves your under eye area! I have not tried any Bobbi Brown products but I would love to.
On the chat part: I have been blogging for the same amount of time and I would get the same feeling you're experiencing. I have seen people blow up, in what seems like, over night. Then, I would get down on myself. In the past couple of months, I decided, instead of feeling sorry for myself, to look at what it is these bloggers or youtubers are doing that I'm not. I realized some of my images were not so great, a lot of people were blowing up on Pinterest and on social media a lot. I have since looked into improving my photography skills (I just have a point and shoot), started making pinable images and use hootsuite to schedule my tweets/fb. I have noticed an increase in traffic. The thing I recently started doing is, each time a person comments I go to their blog and leave a thoughtful comment. I don't follow all of these blogs, but I figure if they took the time to stop by I should, too. Not if it's a spammy comment, though. This is really helping me to branch out. I'm going to try to go to some events next year to branch out, too.
What I'm getting at, you have a good blog and I enjoy reading but maybe this is an opportunity to learn and grow.
I forgot to ad, I also noticed a lot of bloggers invest via advertising. I had not been doing this at all. Now, I do. I look at blogs that offer good advertising (i.e. they do more than just throw my ad up). I am seeing a boost from this, too.
Thanks for the great comment and advice lovely. I do some of these things already but not all and that is for one reason only..Im clueless when it comes to computers (truely) and I dont even understand the step by step instructions on half the things I look up that would help. I was stopping by so many blogs everyday to read and leave thoughtful comments whether they stopped by or not until recently when I fell in this funk. I have some ideas that may help and make me feel about the whole blogging thing. Going relax and just have fun:) xx
